The short version
You can delete your Stylra account and data at any time from inside the app — no email required. Deleting your account removes your photos and erases your personal information. Some anonymized records (which can no longer identify you) are kept for analytics.
1. How to Delete Your Account In-App
This is the fastest way and works directly from your phone:
- Open the Stylra app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are then deleted as described below.
If you only want to remove your body photo without closing your account, you can delete it separately from Settings at any time.
2. What Gets Deleted
- Your personal information — your email address and account identifier are erased (set to empty/anonymized).
- Your photos — your body photo, outfit images, and result images are permanently deleted from our cloud storage.
- Your sign-in identity — your authentication record is removed, so the account can no longer be used to sign in.
3. What Is Retained
For analytics and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, we keep certain records in an anonymized form after deletion. These records have your personal identifiers removed and can no longer be linked back to you. They do not include your photos.
Subscription records held by our billing provider and by Apple may be retained as required for receipt validation, accounting, and tax obligations, even after your account is deleted.
4. Timeline
Your personal information and sign-in identity are removed immediately when you confirm deletion. Your photos are purged from primary storage within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within 90 days.
5. Request Deletion by Email
If you can't access the app, you can ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@stylra.app from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
6. Signing Up Again
Deletion is permanent and your data cannot be recovered. If you sign up again later — even with the same Apple ID, Facebook account, Google account, or email — it creates a brand-new account with fresh free try-ons. Your previous photos and history will not be restored.
